If you have not been to Laos but you are planning to visit one day, include Vang Vieng in itinerary! This place is really beautiful!  Talking about Vang Vieng, activities like climbing, swimming, kayaking, buggy driving and the infamous tubing, are not to be missed.  Well, I can skip doing the rest except hiking :p  Nam Xay Viewpoint is a hidden gem so you won't find a massive crowd of tourists here. If you want to enjoy the beautiful landscape, I suggest of not joining any guided tour. As I always believe that  it doesn't allow me to take the journey completely at my own pace in order to enjoy. So here I am going to share my hiking experience and offer you some tips.  Nam Song River Bridge Pha Ngeun is easy to hike, which is also a much cheaper option compare to the others.
